We review a live site by hand across code, SEO, accessibility, performance, and experience. Every finding comes with evidence, a severity, and the fix we would make, ordered by what it is costing you.
GRADE Audits
Companies come to us for this when a site is underperforming and no one can say precisely why, when leadership wants an independent read on work an agency has delivered, or when a redesign budget is about to be approved and the case for it has not yet been made.
Most website problems remain invisible until they begin to cost something, and by then the damage is already priced into the pipeline: a page that fails quietly on a phone, a heading structure search engines cannot follow, an accessibility gap that excludes customers while inviting real legal risk, a script that doubles the time a visitor waits. A GRADE audit is the hand review that surfaces those problems early, separating what is broken from what is merely risky and what is fine, and ordering the result by consequence rather than by ease.

How we work
Method over deliverable theater.
We audit the real rendered site, not just the source: measured performance, actual crawlability, and assistive-technology behavior.
Every finding carries evidence and a severity, so the report survives scrutiny from developers and leadership alike.
The output is a decision tool: what to fix, in what order, and what to leave alone.
Questions
Frequently asked, plainly answered.
What does a GRADE website audit cover?
GRADE reviews six dimensions: code quality, SEO and AI search visibility, ADA and WCAG accessibility, performance, functionality, and the overall digital experience. Every finding is ranked by business impact with evidence and a recommended fix.
How is this different from a free automated site scan?
Automated scanners list symptoms without judgment. GRADE is a human-led review that uses tooling for measurement but ranks findings by what they cost your business, filters out false positives, and delivers a fix plan you can hand to any developer.
Do you fix the issues you find?
We can. The audit is designed to stand alone, so you can remediate with any team, but many clients have NOVAGRADIENT implement the high-impact fixes or fold them into a larger website engagement.
How long does a GRADE audit take?
Two to three weeks, from kickoff to walkthrough. Site size drives it, since more templates and flows mean more to review individually. Larger sites with ecommerce or gated areas take longer, and we scope that before starting.
What does a website audit cost?
Pricing depends on the number of templates, flows, and integrations under review rather than on raw page count. We quote a fixed fee after a short scoping conversation, so the number does not move once the work begins.
